DAY ONE of my Olympic National Park road tip with my friend Kimi. The video stars off with us leaving the Tacoma, WA urban area and heading to the Kitsap and then Olympic Peninsula. We stop in Port Angeles to check out the Olympic National Park Visitor Center and get some lunch. While there I purchased a vinyl copy of Deep Purple's "The House of Blue Light" and four books by my favorite author, David Eddings. We drove along the shores of Lake Crescent and hiked to Sol Duc Falls before ending the day with a beautiful sunset at La Push.
