In this video, I hike North Ogden's Coldwater Creek trail to see the giant U.S. Flag known as The Major. This beautiful flag is flown for 2 weeks every November, usually going up before Halloween and coming down after Veterans Day. The flag honors Major Brent Taylor, who served as the Mayor of North Ogden Utah. Taylor was KIA in Afghanistan in 2018 while mayor of the city. The trail is lined with information about the flag and Major Brent Taylor, and has proved to be a very popular community event.
