On May 15, 2022 I hiked North Ogden's South Skyline Trail for the first time. This hike is easily my favorite in the Ogden area so far!The South Skyline Trail is a 19.6 mile trail from the North Ogden Divide to Ogden Canyon. If you complete the entire trail, you gain 5,406 ft of elevation. However, most people use the South Skyline Trail to reach Lewis Peak, which is a 10.2 mile hike with 2,851 ft of elevation gain. In this video, we only went about halfway to Lewis Peak because we had an event to go to. (about 5.3 miles).
