Video description

In this video I hike the Wheeler Creek Trail in Ogden, Utah in search of fall colors.

The story behind the video

On September 27, 2020, I hiked the Wheeler Creek Trail for the first time. This is also my first ever proper fall hike, since I do most of my hiking and snowshoeing in the summer and winter months. I was blown away by the stunning fall colors on the Wheeler Creek Trail and Old Snowbasin Road. I did my best to capture some of the scenery while also snapping hundreds of photos and flying the drone a few times. I loved every minute of this hike and it is one that I'd love to do again in the winter or spring! According to AllTrails, "Wheeler Creek Trail is a 9.2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Huntsville, Utah that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round."
